From bad to good news
new_line

I have not postet anything on my blog for quite some time now. I am sad to say that I have left London and are currently back in Denmark. I am back to start and hopefully end my masters here on Designskolen Kolding. This was not entirely planned as I had hoped to find a job in London. I blame bad timing and bad luck the culprit for not lettling me get a job in London.
The good news is that I am not entirely unemployd. As a back up plan I applied for my masters a long time ago in Kolding and actually got a place. So that is very good news. Alot of things will happen on this blog and my portfolio will most likely be updated on a regular basis... and who knows there could be some freelance work on the way as well... who knows.
The main thing is I am finally back after alot of stress because I had to find something to live in as well... and all that is sorted now. Till next time... and London... I am NOT finished with you yet... and honey... I will be back...

August 2 2010 Weekly blog theme upgrade
new_line
Inspired by Adam J Evans blog move of posting a music video once a week I will try to take that a bit further to enlighten my own personal interests. From Now on I will post once a week a trailer, teaser, cgi movie or cinematic movie that has some relevance to gaming. Either it be brand new, retro or one of my favorites gaming epidsodes. Why? Because gaming is as big a business area as hollywood movies and games cost as much money to make today if not more... Plus I have a high interest in visual identity and gaming. Gaming is branded more and more efficient like high-end companys like Coca Cola, Pepsi, Cars etc... you get the idea. So sit down relax and enjoy the following weeks... I think wednesday is a perfect day for a little nerdy game input don't you think?
We will start of today with these two trailers for Fallout 3. Great identiy work and I simply love the logo... You can also see these on my blog...

Morten Elgaard Pedersen was friendly to post my Sia Academia typograhy movie on QBN. Because of that it was reposted on the blog Escape into life. Some very kind words followed and I am very proud of it. It is always good to get noticed especially if a simple link can do all that. As a little respone have I made a post about Escape into Life on my blog. You can also read the kind words that Escape into Life has written about my movie right here. The Escape into Life blog is an immense art, poetry, movie and poetry blog you should not miss.

July 13 2010 New Font on the way
new_line
This is a new sampe of a font that I am currently working on. I startet with my logo as a standard shape and developed some characteristics from that. Now before you all burst into flames and start evaluating the shapes and errors and what not bear in mind that this is only a sample and it is far from finished. I just wanted to bring you all a little taste. My plan is to have it finished as soon as possible so that I can concentrate on other project that I have in mind.
I.e a remake of my first kinetic typo movie Feel Good hits of the summer. This time all animations will be done in after effects. Until next time....

Bush Hall
That was it. I have just finished washing clothes, sleeping bag and had a good rest and a decent meal. This years Roskilde Festival have just ended and It has been a joy to go there yet again with my very best freinds. It was a very emotional and moving festival as it was the festival 40 year anniversary but also 10 years ago where 9 people where killed by the masses of people infront of the Rock Band Pearl Jam.
But I would like to thank Nils, Simon, Søren, Patrick, Finn, Pedn, Calle Frank, BT and Jørgen for yet another succesfull Roskilde Festival and I truly hope that we can have another full blown 9 day party same time same place next year.
This year the Festival was totally sold out and 75.000 people choosed to spent some of there summer here in the conpany of great people, music, beer and alot more... Till next time Roskilde... I will be there next year...
The festival managed to make a 10 million DKR surplus to charity. Besides all that 150 bands played the Roskilde Festival and I managed to see Gorillaz, Alice in Chains, Them Crooked Vultures, NOFX, Nephew, Kashmir, Prodigy, Motörhead, The National, Kasabian which was a hell of a concert and of cause Muse. I have a friend who was doing some stage work for Muse and he gave me a used Pick that Matthew Bellamy used during the concert. I owe my friend Thomas Lassen alot and the pick shall be my lucky charm from now on... If you would like to know more or about Roskilde Festival which is the biggest festival in Skandinavia follow the link here.
Tommorow will I return to London and look for an internship and hopefully a Job... More news will come the next couple of month and I have alot of things in store for you all... just you wait...

The Bachelor project I did just recently is up. It has been a long run but the case is finally ready for you to have a look at it. The entire case was a a project that I choosed myself and there has not been much guidance from professional people from the industry so it has been a more solo project I have done. The diamod you can see here is a grahpical element that was done to enhance the identity of Bush Hall.
Enough talk... you can see the rest of the case by following the link here.

RBMA - Culture clash

My internship is over and I have started my Bachelor Project.
I have had my fingers in quite alot of project in my time at Bunch and the picture above is definetly the thing that I have done (With some help from my Colleagues there) that is the biggest project I have been a part of. Adam J Evans did some initial design on a poster for the RBMA - Culture Clash event. When he left to start at poke London, alot of things where put in my hands. I had to implement his poster designs on some big 4x6 meter banners hanging behind the DJ. Although Adam can take the honor for the overall design it was still my repsonsibility to make the design work with pillars, arches, size wise and with the dj logo. Click the image to see the rest of the pictures.
